Message from the Rector:
Please come along and celebrate the festival of St. Nicholas, a 4th century Bishop living in Myra, in modern day Turkey. He is remembered for his robust defence of the Christian faith, as well as his acts of kindness.
As St. Nicholas promoted the welfare of children, a tradition of children playing the parts of Bishop and assistants developed, and we will welcome this year’s Boy Bishop and assistants from St. Nicholas School, Alcester.
Do also drop in for the special interactive prayer activities happening throughout the day at St. Nicholas Church, Alcester.
God bless,
Rev. Adrian Guthrie, Rector of Alcester Minster
