Arden MG Club
The Arden MG Club was founded in 1989 by a small group of MG enthusiasts meeting at the Golden Cross, Ardens Grafton. Since then membership has grown to over 100 members owning MG's dating from the 1930's to the present day.
The Club is affiliated to the MG Car Club and the MG Owners Club and members meet on the first Tuesday evening of each month at the Golden Cross, Ardens Grafton. The Arden Octagon Group, members owning pre-1956 MG's, meet on the last Tuesday evening of each month at the Blue Boar, Temple Grafton.
There is no membership fee and meetings are informal, along the lines of a 'noggin and natter'. Several events are held each year, including the Arden Heritage Run which attracts up to 200 MG's nationwide. Members are kept informed of events via monthly newsletters.
New faces are always welcome. Ownership of an MG is not compulsory, but enthusiasm for MG's helps! Many members have themselves restored MG's, most maintain MG's, so someone is usually available to advise on technical issues or the supply of parts for most models.
New members, or MG enthusiasts just passing through, are always assured of a friendly welcome. For further details ring Roger Jackson on 01789 762540 (e-mail: rogerml.jackson@which.net).
