Arden Medical is a company that manufactures and distributes medical devices for hospital and homecare patients worldwide. Primary produts include a range of non-sterile specialist inflatable Air Splints and accessories for an aid to rehabilitation of Cerebral strokes , head injuries, Multiple Sclerosis and post operative limb surgery.

Initially designed and developed as an aid to the "Margaret Johnstone Concept" of Cerebral Stroke Rehabilitation, the unique Urias branded Splints have become an invaluable aid in most techniques used in modern day rehabilitation cycles, including extension into special sized Urias paedictoric, junior and child splints for therapy often found benifitial in cases of Cerebral Palsy, Brain Damage, Development Delay or Post Oporative Orthopaedics.

The Urias range of Rehabilitation Air Splints used as a series of tools to aid physio / occupational therapists which, "are like an extra pair of hands" which, "treat extra sensory loss" and "provide a feeling of security and valuable sensory feedback in rehabilitating muscle tone".

The use of Urias Air Splints can also be continued in the home environment with the help of partners or carers.

Arden Medical Ltd. also manufacture a range of lightweight first aid inflatable splints intended for single use and emergency applications in areas of Ambulances, sports clubs, leisure activities, lifeboats or in the home.



Arden Medical's Air Splints are inexpensive, re-useable, easy to store and conveniently inflatable to the desired pressure by mouth via hygenic personal Mouthpieces and moisture/condensation preventative filters.
The splints can also be inflated by hand bulb pumps if desired. They are x-ray transparent and easy to wipe clean and dry after use.

All products are sold as individual items or in convenient kit sets.

For the past 5 Years Arden Medical has also commisioned a class 7 sterile Clean Room for manufacturing/ converting and assembly of medical dressings, medical bags and catheterised assemblies for key B2B customers. The company is also accredited to ISO 13495:2003, audited by BSI.
